The Zuidwolde international show jumping event (often branded as CH De Wolden / CSI Zuidwolde) is a long-running Dutch summer competition that combines FEI international classes with strong national participation.
The 15–19 July 2026 week features CSI1 and CSI2** competition, including multiple ranking classes, young horse divisions, and a CSI2 Grand Prix* as the main Sunday class. The program is designed as a multi-tour format (Bronze, Silver, Gold tours), giving opportunities for developing horses, U25 riders, and established international combinations.
Unlike major championship-level shows (like Falsterbo or LGCT events), Zuidwolde is primarily a development and mid-level international circuit stop, but it is still important in the European summer calendar because:
- it runs back-to-back weeks (mid and late July)
- it attracts riders from ~30 countries
- it is part of the Dutch outdoor summer circuit (CH De Wolden)
The venue is known for its relaxed but professional atmosphere, strong sport-horse trading presence, and consistent participation from European and international stables.
