The Kentucky Spring Horse Show (Week II) is part of the broader spring circuit held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. It follows the early-May opening week and continues the U.S. outdoor season as riders prepare for the summer Grand Prix and festival circuit.
This week typically features FEI CSI2* or CSI3* show jumping classes (depending on the annual FEI allocation), alongside national hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions. The highlight is the Grand Prix CSI class, which serves as the main international competition of the week.
Riders use this show as a progression stop in the North American spring calendar, often bringing developing horses and international combinations needing FEI mileage. The Kentucky Horse Park provides world-class infrastructure and is one of the most important equestrian venues in the United States, regularly hosting top-level FEI and championship events.
